P3D Lawrence's Nimslow shutter

Lawrence laments that when he depresses his shutter it
stays open till he releases the shutter button. Well
I don't have much experience in this matter but I assume
you have or have ready access to Reel 3-D's Guide to the
Nimslo 3D Camera. On page 39-40 it MIGHT offer a
solution to your problem.

It mentions that when you depress the shutter, it actuates
in sequence the master switch (controls the electronics)
and the shutter release mechanism. The shutter mechanism
controls initiation of the exposure timing switch after
cocking the shutter.

I am assuming that maybe your exposure timing switch is
not making proper contact. The reason being is that the
book mentions the exposure timing switch should touch
a pole B. If it isn't this might be where your problem
lies. To solve this it says you can simply adjust the
switch contact by bending it. Don't know if this is your
problem but who knows? Maybe!

P.S. Lawrence, thanks for those virtual 3-Doritos chips!

Gabriel
