P3D Re: HELP Vivitar 283; Brockway -S HELP

Years ago when we had two 283s in the photo department
we went through a few flash feet  and tried ordering replacements
from Vivitar. At the time they were out of stock but assured me
that there was no problem with either the design or the manufacture
of this part. Yah!  At any rate try ordering from them thru a local retailer 
or  direct. Regardless, it's a common problem. We bought a few
from a local camera shop for about 15 bucks apiece just to have on 
hand. There is also someone out there who sells a metal version...
unbreakable. But it only attaches to the camera...you have to cable
the flash to the camera's receptacle.

Free information...worth every penny of it!
