P3D stereo video adaptor

Hi, another newbie here (sort of)
Anyone out there tried the Nu-View SX2000 stereo video adaptor from 3DVideo
Corp. yet? There's an article raving about it in the Feb. 98 issue of
"Camcorder & Computer Video". It's about US$375, attaches to most camcorders,
and works w/ most LCD shutter glasses and head-mount VR displays, or so they
claim. I've never done stereo video, but this seems like a less-expensive way
of getting into it. They have a web site at:
http://www.3-dvideo.com/
and are in Santa Barbara, CA, at (805) 963-5990. I have no connection to the
company, just read the article and was curious.
Also, what are the current LCD shutter glasses of choice? I've looked at most
of the web sites, but I'd like some personal opinions, please. 3DVideo corp.
will bundle 2 pairs of their own wireless glasses w/ the adaptor for an
additional $80-$90, but they don't look so impressive in the picture on their
website. Good price, though.
Thanks,
Scott Ressler
