I've seen TV actors talk about the olden black & white days where
their makeup would make their faces green in color. To make them
"natural" on the screen (I recall this from a Perry Mason actress
being asked about whether she liked the switch to color (yes)).
So maybe if people in the photographed Anaglyphs had people faces
made up in the proper colors, it might come out better. Maybe
the proper techniques would enhance depth and reduce cardboarding!
So find an old retired TV makeup artist and......well, nevermind.
