Since glass plates are still carried by Eastman Kodak, I would not be that
surprised to find them used still. The plates available these days are
designed for scientific applications and in many cases have emulsions
sensitized for very specific applications. In my collection, I have glass
plates made in the 60's of Salt Lake City.
