P3D RE 3-CD Glitch

Dan...
It seems to me most folks think that, when they post to Photo-3D, they
ARE posting for the general public. This would mean, of course, that
their posts are available to anyone on the Internet who wants to look at
P3D archives.
If I were you I would run this question by Andrew Miller who is an
attorney (dddalia@xxxxxxxxxxxxx). He might be able to look up a past
ruling about this from somewhere.
I'm sure a lot of us have posted messages with "typos" and "writeos"
over the course of their tenure on the board, however, I'm sure the
folks that buy the CD will take these with a grain of salt. If anyone
posted anything they didn't think should be viewed publically, I agree
that it should not have been posted in the first place. Is this person
so ashamed of their postings that they don't want to share them? Or is
it the opposite do they think that their postings are too "valuable" to
be placed on your CD?
As you are probably aware, I read almost all of the digests but seldom
post as my area of expertise is somewhat limited. However, I would love
for the messages I have posted to be shared by all. Some messages will
be irrelevent (i.e. postings for past NSA conventions) and maybe some of
these should be filtered out...but I think that is your decision, not
one of an individual subscriber.
Good luck in fixing your "glitch". I'm still hoping you get it all
straightened out and the project can progress.
Best wishes
Mary Ann Sell
