I shoot print film 98% of the time, since most of my stereo hobby is
participation in SSA viewcard folios. So that I can also participate
in the local stereo club contests, I frequently send my uncut Kodak
negatives to Dale Labs, in Florida, for conversion to filmstrip. While
the slides have higher grain than normal slide film, which is quite
noticeable in a hand viewer, they project well and cannot be
distinguished from normal slide film, when projected. I've heard
negative comments about Seattle Filmworks, but Dale has always done
good work for me. By the way, I only use Kodak film - the movie film
also sold by Seattle and Dale is extremely high grain and low color
saturation.
