I would say that stereo has failed with the general public.  The Realist
has nothing to do with it.  The general public is not after good quality. 
It is after convenience at a low price.

I understand what you are saying... I just don't understand why you are
putting the dilemma of either 2x2 slides with a Pinsharp viewer or Realist
slides with a Radex viewer.  How about 2x2 slides in standard stereo mounts
with a Radex viewer?   Don't forget that the Radex viewer is cheaper :-)
