Mark: I don't know anything about Ricoh "twinability"  but I've had great
results using Canon EOS Rebel X cameras with 35-80 mm zoom lenses, rigged to
fire simultaneously via two Canon remote shutter release cords spliced into
one button.  Flash synch is right on the nose about 80 to 90 percent of the
time. (Vivitar 285 connected to either of the two hot shoes via a Vivitar
Remote Sensor Cord).  (And, by the way, find this rig far more versatile --
and producing sharper pictures, to -- than any of the three Realists or one
Kodak Stereo that I have owned!)  Hope this helps.
