P3D Stereo World

The latest Stereo World includes an excellent article by Norman
Patterson about Bill Walton,  NSA, SSA, PSA, member of this
list, and a specialist in black and white stereo cards.  The closing
statement reads: "Long after all of the color prints and slides have
faded to a muddy hue, Bill Walton's black and white stereo cards
will be showing  what things were really like in these good old days." 
 He may be correct, because just the other day I was looking 
through some of my old photo albums and almost all of the color 
prints were faded to pink while the b&w prints, which I did in my
darkroom, were perfect!  Same for many slides, Agfa in particular.
