Thanks for the timely reminder, John.

That approach is a wonderful idea that originated with P3D's own
Harold Baize, as Steve Spicer mentions on the web page you site.
The technique does take some effort to master, and, as subsequently
discussed here on P3D, there are some problems that cannot easily
be fully overcome (e.g., the window placement is different between
the two mounts).

Spicer cardboard mounts are a terrific and affordable mount to use
for many slides.  But they are not in the same league as RBT mounts
(and I'm sure were never intended to be).
