P3D Re: Filtering AC Viewer Lamps to Daylight

Yikes! I've been flooded with requests for information about filtering
A/C viewer lamps to something close to daylight... guess it's a more
widespread problem than I thought. I'll ask for the lists collective
indulgence and post the information again as it seems lots of folks
missed it...
I use half blue roscoe (3204); seems perfect for a K2 @ midrange in the
dimmer,
and stays fairly effective at max and min. This stuff is made to do just
what we're asking... turn tungston to daylight. It can take the heat and
shouldn't fade. Full blue too much for my taste, designed for higher
illumination.
I've cut a good pattern for the K2... hooks to the reflector and sits
directly in front of the lamp w/o interference with the carrier. If you
want one, send a SASE and one dollar to:

Include a note to say if you want a precut K2 filter are a piece of
roscoe to cut your own.
(Hope this doesn't violate the P3D charter... as it is clearly not a
money-making venture...)
