Bill, may I ask why you have not been satisfied with the halogen bulbs?
Perhaps you can take a look through my viewer in Detroit.  As far
as I am concerned, the illumination is PERFECT.  Bright, white,
uniform.  What else can a person want?

PS.  I am using a frosted halogen bulb and my viewer is painted
so there are no hot spots, etc.
