P3D Re: SEM Bugs

OK, OK, OK.... I take it back. Bugs are diverse and can even be cute.

But they do require some background to be appreciated (unlike a human
face, for example) And I definitely prefer bugs photographed in some
natural environment, live, in color (as with a macro Realist) than the
dead gold-coated B&W SEM bugs.

But you do agree that some of the Mars stereos are boring. I have seen
stereos of rocks from the moon. All grayish... and boring like hell!
That's something for the specialist to appreciate.

I can show you some of the SEM fractured surfaces I am dealing with.
Very interesting for those who investigate the causes of fracture but
only a curiocity item for the rest. Good stereo effect, but once you
have seen a typical subject, you don't want to see another one.

Bottom line: For the non-specialist, stereo effect is not everything.
Interesting subject well-photographed, must be there too.
