The comedy team of Bob and Ray did a fake public service announcement
about throwing things into the Grand canyon in the early seventies, and
I'm sure the problem pre-dates that.  In my business we deal extensively
withthe National Parks and litter and it is an uphill battle.  Maybe the
next batch of Grand Canyon View Maste reels should use the realism of
stereo photography to show the damage we do to our real shrines.
