In the most recent PHOTO-3d DIGEST 2638, George
Gioumousis writes regarding DALE LABS:

"I have gotten good results using Kodak print film with both
slides and prints from them . On the other hand, their pictures
on floppies were pretty poor. Seattle Filmworks has better
floppies, but the attempt to get slides from NIMSLO negatives
was a disaster; their system goes from the negs to mounted
slides with no options".

Duggan Replies:

Dale Labs HAS OPTIONS that are not on the order form or printed on
the mailer, but are in the literature and that will be pleasantly
explained by the customer service operator.if you ask. Anytime you
are placing an order with any lab involving non-standard size
negatives YOU SHOULD ASK. I believe, but am NOT certain that
there are 2 or 3 options (choices) as regards floppies (the quality
depends on the number of images you want on each floppy), and
I know there are at least 3 options as regards PHOTO CDs.

As regards slides from negatives in an uncut roll, as stated clearly
in my last posting on this subject, there are TWO OPTIONS:

1) From an uncut roll of standard size negatives, you can ask for
       "mounted slides" OR       "UNMOUNTED FILM STRIP";

2) From an uncut roll of non-standard size negatives (half-frame,
NIMSLO, NISHIKA, TRIOLOGY, 3-D MAGIC, WIZZARD, RITTAI,
STEREO REALIST, FED, etc.) customer service will tell you to
      ask for "UNMOUNTED FILM STRIP".

Nimslo cameras produce a 5mm-6mm gap between every four
negatives, and modern, AUTOMATED equipment CAN NOT HANDLE
this gap in making prints from the negatives or in cutting a film strip
and attempting to mouint slides. This was intended by NIMSLO to force
owners to send their film to NIMSLO for processing. You should know
this and not ask for prints or slides from NIMSLO negatives from any
automated processor, except small one-hour labs where the processor
can view each negative individually and make adjustments before printing
or cutting and charge you double or more the price than the big
automated
labs charge for NORMAL processing. NIMSLO negatives are NOT
NORMAL.

I understand that Dale Labs can make good quality individual
ENLARGEMENTS from non-standard negatives, but you must ask.

Hopefully. someday, Dale Labs will re-print their mailers and order
forms, adding one line (so that they can better service business
from 3-D photographers with cameras that do not produce standard
 size negatives):

"For UNMOUNTED FILM STRIP from processed uncut roll of negatives:
 $5.50 for 24 exp and $6.95 for 36 exp."

George, the options are there. Presumably, You did not ask or read the
Dale literature or pay attention I do not think it right to badmouth
any
business, when you do not have all your facts straight Please re-read

my P3D posting "Revised negatives from slides".

William A. Duggan, a satisfied Dale Labs customer.
