Thank you all for your kind words.  I have nothing but deep (3D :-))
respect for Dan Shelley and his work to educate the public through his
impressive web pages and other projects.  Yes, we have "bumped" into 
each other in occasions but it's all for the best :-)

About Bob Wier and his work in this list, what is even more amazing is 
that he does the same thing for 2-3 other lists as well!!! 
   
Regarding the recent debate on computer stereo and out of topic subjects,
there was never any question that computer *stereo* can be discussed 
in the list.  The question was about partitioning hard drives... :-)
I guess the new policy is that there will be tolerance to what is
discussed, but members should show some restrain when the topic 
bears only a very remote resemblance to stereo.

>From a brief correspondence with Bo Meyer, I gather that he is a Dutch 
enthusiast who has been involved in many stereo projects and I am 
looking forward to hearing more in this list.

About Ron Labbe's comment that I began and ran *my own* stereo club 
I should clarify that Jim Motley and myself were involved in the startup.  
We now have 50 or so members and I do not plan to be the President for 
the second year.  It is now "our" club.  And thank you Ron and others for 
your financial and moral support. We have been doing very well and we are 
looking forward to a good future too.
