Dear Bob;
I'm very glad that you have been so quick to recognize this conflict as
having the potential to limit 3-D related discussions, and to offer a solution.
As I just wrote 'The Good Doctor', I am currently working on an NIST grant
having to do with 3-D digital television. The recent computer HD
configuration thread has been the first thread in some time specific to my
needs. I don't know what this means or implies, except that I've found it
useful.
If a "C3D" develops, I'd like to join it. Though I feel that photo-3D should
welcome new topics and technologies; reflect the evolution of discovery and
adaption within the stereo field. I find it stimulating, I am confident that
photo-3D will not founder under the weight of discussing new developments or
change. After all, these posts reflect the interests of people who have
already demonstrated their interest in traditional 3-D.
I haven't dropped P3D, despite the many posts about various types of 35mm
mounts or 40 year old cameras, of which I now have little interest after the
first several rounds of discussion on these topics.
And heck, if Allan Woods can hit the nail on the head, then what could we
really talking about? More medicine Mr. Woods?
