I think there has been a huge amount of digitally related photo-3d
discustion that took place w/o any squelching.  Comes in bursts.

If there were a computer-version of photo-3d I think that details
about FAT and FAT32 cluster size would be inappropriate there as 
well.  That's more of a comp.os.windows.95 sort of topic.  To keep
a S/N at some reasonable level, there needs to be topic contraint.
The occasional one or two postings that go a bit afield (I'm as
guilty as anyone) don't seem to be too bad so long as they don't
get carried way and end quickly -- but extended discussions about
how one particular posting was off topic is itself a bit much.

So if a new C3D were to be made, where are its lines drawn?
If *anything* digital related is allowed, then it's a 
combination of all comp.*.*.* newsgroups and doesn't seem
worthwhile.
