Although Cliff probably would agree with you, I think a moderator
that is pretty laid back but cuts things off when stuff goes too far afield
or somewhat-far-afield for too long is appropriate for a good signal-to-
noise ratio list.
This is one of the major advantages of a list over a newsgroup.
I'm just glad I'm not the one to have to judge exactly when the
fuzzy line has been crossed. Tough job.

P.S. - To get back to a "real" subject, in trying my first
test roll in my new Viewmaster Personal camera, how
does one do that? Shortest roll of film in the store
is for 48 stereo shots! I could make up a really
short roll of my copy-film, but it's ISO is something
like "8" (and probably would need a filter to make it
somewhat daylight balanced). Anybody make slide film
with "6" images or the like? Maybe if I try 48 combinations
of f/stop and shutter speed (no focus to vary) all with
the same target image? How do I "kill" 48 images without
getting too attached and wanting them to come out right (it
*is* a test roll, which may fail)? Or maybe just take ten
pictures of a test target and have the other 38 blank? :-(
