**** Dr. T, you love grandstanding. Go look in the archives if you want
examples. It does in fact happen. Not all the time, but enough that it
impacts the level of digital discussion within P3D.

**** As I said, look them up for yourself. I didn't say it caused a problem
as you suggest, I said it influences the amount and quality of digitally
related discussions. How long did that thread about partitioning a hard
drive last before someone complained? Maybe two or three messages? That's
pretty shallow if you compare it to something like archival qualities of
film. Or extensive quotes from various books, etc. Please note that *I do
not object* to those messages or quotes. I am simply making a comparison of
usage patterns.

It is scientifically innacurate to extrapolate directly from current levels
of digital conversation on P3D to the level of potential conversation given
an environment where static is not generated. I will guarantee there are a
number of things I have avoided providing or discussing due to this limit.
There are many times I have not posted responses to something on that topic
if someone else seems to be responding. More involved conversations on those
threads seem to *always* draw static, as do these meta discussions, which
for some reason you want to expand?

You spoke out in favor of a digital group, and I know you enjoy using your
computer along with the other stereo toys.

**** No one is whining as you suggest. Just because my observations are
different than yours does not mean they are less valid. Your static is
occasionally really loud, as in this paticular post, and I'd rather hear
someone elses opinions on the topic of a digital group. You already stated
yours. You loudly proclaim your opinion on any topic including digital ones
regardless of who complains. Most of us enjoy your posts and we reserve the
right to disagree too.

It sounds to me like you are the one here doing the *WHINING.* ;-)
