Dan Shelley wrote, after an interesting description of his method of achieving
a screen viewable *flat* image:

are different paths to take in image manipulation based on the expected
use... I could go on, but... Is this of any interest or not?

Yes, but what I had hoped you were going to cover was the next stage -
producing a screen viewable *3-D* image!

I have a great variety of image editing software - including Paint Shop Pro,
Micrografix Print Studio, Photo DeLuxe and even Photoshop on a Mac.

But I haven't had time to work out which ones I should use for which 3-D
viewing method!!!

So, for my money, the place for computer 3-D image manipulation on a basic -
non technical - level is right here on photo3-D!

After all we still use photons are many stage of the process!!!!
