Hmmm...  That last one for me? :)   I'd already made my relevant statement.  I  
ORIGINALLY chose to do so in Email to Bob Wier since I specifically felt there was no  
need to clutter the list with discussion of the point, merely put it up to what amounted to an  
initial vote.

I later voiced my opinion in open.   I finally resorted to the list of various other new groups  
as my way of saying that the discussion had gotten out of hand.

I'm still in favor of a split.  The various postings seemed to lean against it, however I wasn't  
keeping track of people just repeating their feelings.  It's also clear that only a small  
fraction of those subscribed to the list bothered posting on the topic.  


There definatly seems to be a fraction of the group who favors the split though.  Has the  
idea of some sort of formal vote on the matter been suggested yet?
