P3D Twin SLR rigs

Ugh! I did that a couple of times. I've got a twin Minolta X-370 rig with 28, 45
and 85/135mm (switchable) lenses. I took the whole damn kit with me on a hiking
trip that was longer than I should have done. I came back with hamburger for
heels and a strong desire for compact and lightweight 2x2 gear. That was my
original motivation for building the Olympus XA-2x2 rig. Won't do as much as the
SLRs, but it's a heck of a lot easier to cart around. The bar I used was built to
hold a neck-strap too so I could carry it around like any other camera.
As a side note - the twin SLRs weren't the only problems on that trip. I'd also
brought a Realist, a Kodak, a 1904 6x17 swing-lens panoramic camera, a luna-
pro light meter and a tripod. What in God's name was I thinking when I packed
for that trip?!?
