Well, sure, I've been an unindicted co-conspirator in such discussions
right here on this very list. It still isn't intrinsically 3D-relevant.
Stereographs can be, and have been, made without the use of film of any
kind whatsoever. Anaglyphs, for example, can be made entirely in the
digital realm, or by hand with colored pencils, etc.
We're so used to thinking about stereography meaning "taking stereo
pictures on film" that I think some of us lose sight that there are
other alternatives. I'm just trying to get people to open their minds
and let some fresh air in.
