I meant more like pictures *of* Aunt Martha, and by me or my wife (with 
maybe a cha-cha thrown in).  

And I've already  a computer (as does a pretty high percentage of
the families in the U.S.).

I'm not really trying to ponder when digital cameras will blow away
film and film become an antique.  I'm only pondering when I'd like
to buy one and be able to have useful fun with it even if it
doesn't blow film away.  The instant-viewing feature and the already
digitized aspects are something useful that film doesn't have
(and which I'd like to have around).
