IMHO:
It's kind and unselfish individuals like John Saddy that help to make
the stereo community grow. It was only a few shorts years ago that I
purchased some "weird looking" slides and a viewer from Mrs. Raymond
Scott in California, and as I was searching around on the Internet to
try and find out if anyone else had an interest in this 3D phenomenon, I
chanced upon John Saddy's site.
Noting that he lived in London Ontario, I phoned him up and tried not to
ask too many questions about stereo photography. He then proceeded to
invite me over to his house, to have a personal viewing of all of the
auction items! He was very keen to share his knowledge about his
hobby,(what's that Mr. Golden? A way of life?) and encouraged my
questions and interest in stereo photography.
Needless to say, I am as snap-happy and double-exposed (in the best
sense of the phrase) as the rest of you!
John is one of those guys that makes this hobby fun. He has a great
trained bird, too!
