Subject: P3D Rewind cranks for Revere
Message-ID: <7c1c568e.3532f512@xxxxxxx>
In a message dated 4/13/98 1:43:42 PM, someone wrote:
<<The Realist Rewind Crank, which I find very useful was not made by David
White Co. but was manufactured during the late 50's or 60's. It fits over
the rewind knob and meshes with the grooves in the knob via splines on the
inside of the crank. It makes it very easy to rewind a roll of film. The
only drawback I find is that you cannot leave it on the camera at all
times. It will not allow the camera case to be closed and it is not a
permenent fitting. You must keep it in the camera bag or your pocket. I
have lost one so far as a result. They are available from Photo Emporium in
Chicago for about $15 plus s&h. The phone number is 773-777-3915. They must
also have a web site.>>
And for another $5 plus postage, I'll convert the thing into a rewind crank
for the Revere 33.

Could you procure one of each for me? I'm sure I'll have a 3.5 Realist that
I'll want one for one day. (I assume it doesn't fit my Custom...) and I have a
Revere as well. Now, I wonder if it can be adapted to fit my Belplascas???
I'll be able to send some $$$ bills over soon, and it's probably easier if
Chris & Ed Poncin look after them for me in Lisle for the time being - I owe
them a visit (Christine used to live near me in London)
