Way back in 1976, I had difficulty with my projector
synchronizer when I was about to do a slide show in
Seattle. I took it to an AV repair shop for emergency
resuscitation. The repair man who did a "while-I-waited"
repair Job for me said that he had once been a repairman
at the Realist plant. He said that every year, Harold
Lloyd brought all his realist equipment to the factory
and spent a week hanging around the plant while his equipment was being
renovated. With people like that hanging around, it must have been a
rather interesting
place.
Ben Melton, looking _backward_ to retirement 14 years
ago already.
Happy hunting!
