And I had some slide film one time that turned out to be defective, so we'd
better petition to shut down the slide film industry to keep that from ever
happening again. :-)
I think it's nice that some people are willing to mount their own slides,
but I think it's selfish when they actively seek to kill off commercial
mounting services. I'd like to think that 3D photography could be something
that millions of people could enjoy, and forcing people to mount their
own photos pretty much guarantees that there will never be more than a
few thousand active participants.
If you consider that currently something like 1/1000000 of the world's
population is actively involved in 3D photography, I think there's
considerable room for improvement in that ratio!
