P3D Cordova 3D Exhibition

I hope many of you are planning to enter the Cordova Stereo
Exhibition.  The deadline for entries is April 30, with the
selection on May 2nd.  

We usually have an interesting show.  We have an award for
the best use of selective focus, for instance.  Yes, I know the
old thought was that it had to be sharp all the way through, but
we have people here who have proved it does NOT have to be
sharp.  Flower close-ups lend themselves particularly well to
deliberate out-of-focus treatment.  I've seen a couple of
portraits which are a very pleasing blur around the edge, and they
are stunning.

Then there is the Best New Worker award.  We already have one
entry which will be eligible for that, from within the group here.
Will there be more?

And Boris has been collecting awards left and right.  Boris, I 
hope you will be entering Cordova.  We'd love to have your fresh
approach represented.

We are actually having two exhibitions: slides and cards.  Hope
a lot of you will package up those entries and send them in.  If
you don't have an entry form, send your slides and cards to me, 
with a check for $5 for each exhibition entered (or $10 for both
exhibitions) made payable to 'Cordova Camera Club', and I'll see
that you are entered.
