P3D Scanning slides

On the subject of scanning slides...
I  got pretty good results by combining some stuff I already had.  It is
not strictly "scanning", but I put an old Olympus color tv camera on my
slide copier (basically a light box) and fed the image into the computer
via my Snappy "image grabber".  The Snappy's performance at grabbing
moving taped images is execrable, but the results with live still images
is very good.  It's not the same as a good print, but it will serve for a
lot of purposes.
