Me and a couple of other people on the list use Canon Rebels (xS).  They have an
electronic cable release that can be spliced together (I haven't tried this yet).

I'm told you can do this [with a camera with a built in flash (like the Rebel Xs)] by
putting black tape over one of the flashes.  I'm not sure how this could be done with
an external flash.

Their are a people on the list with a lot of experience with this type of set up who
have helped me quite a bit.
