P3D Siragusa's PNS vs. JPS test site.

Thank you Jon.
I tried your JPS vs. PNS test site with DepthCharge and I
could find very little loss of detail between the PNG
based PNS images and even the high compression JPS (JPEG).
I was surprised at how large the PNG files are in comparison
to the JPG. When I first learned of PNG I got the impression
that it compressed well and was in the same general range as
a JPEG with low compression. Your test site shows that PNG
is not likely to take the Web by storm, at least not until
the bandwidth problem is solved :-).
By the way, will there be an upgrade of DepthCharge? It
works on my home system, but not at the office-- thought
that maybe a newer version would work with more video
boards.
