P3D Stereogram 2.9

Dear Friends,

Stereogram 2.9 (May 1998) is now in the mail... This issue's special theme
is PSA's Stereo Division.

Ron Fredrickson, PSA Stereo Division Historian and Curator, has written an
excellent article summarizing the History of the Stereo Division and its
service to the stereo community over the years and today.

Ron (also in photo-3d) has been with PSA for 41 years (he started when he
was 3 :-)) and he is active with the Chicago Stereo club and many other
stereo organizations (he is also the USA representative of the "Third
Dimension Society".)  I recently did a little "historical research" of my
own and found Ron's name listed numerous times in various PSA publications.
The earliest reference I found was in "The Stereogram" (this was the title
of the PSA Stereo Division Bulletin from 1953-1971) in 1959 when he
received his first star.  He now holds a Master 4 rating in PSA
exhibitions.

Other items of interest:  Interview with Club Secretary Dennis Petti (I
don't know about you but I am always interested to read about people's
activities is stereo, especially people who I don't know well), Stan White's
comments on "Beyond the Third Dimension", competition results and standings
and illustrated club news and commentary.
