P3D Stereo World

I'd like to suggest a different approach to the NSA
Stereo World debate. I realize that one publication
can't be all things to all people and that's why I've
got so many different photo mags piled up at home.

This list satisfies alot of the equipment end of things
and Stereo World tells me more than I ever wanted to
know about some of the historical stuff.

What I'd like to see are more images and less type.
Some of the articles are really over kill for the average
person but just delightful for the history buff.

But what I'd really like to see are more photos taken by NSA
members and others. Right now you get one or two printed
up for the photo assignment. The other photos are usually
shot at NSA events and few are really displays of the art of
contempory photography. From what I read on this list and
have viewed on web pages there's so much great photography
out there. It really deserves to be put into publication so that it
can be easily viewed and saved. And, hey, today's photos will
be tomorrow's history. Someone might even want to collect 'em!

I would further suggest that Stereo World devote one issue
annually, in color, to the best work of it's members. There's some
people out there who would look forward to it even more than the
swimsuit issue. Oh, sorry, wrong magazine!

And as for the editor having to chase down people to submit...
I'll be glad to stand at the head of the line! Gulp!
