P3D Re: Research help needed.

Everyone, Thank you in advance...
 I am a graduate student in journalism at Ohio University and am writing
 a short thesis on the rise and decline of the stereograph in popularity
 as a mass medium. I am tracing the history of the cards from 1850 until
 they started to disappear from the parlors of America. I have several
 dates with no clear opinions of why they faded. I would like any help
 you can give me on the subject. I am looking for historians or
 collectors I may interview or written sources that would help me define
 my paper. I have talked with a few of the members of this list already
 and they have been very helpful, thank you again, but I would like more
 help.
