P3D "Do Not Mount"
Dear 3D-friends,
about two weeks ago, we had a major discussion about how to avoid that a
slide film is returned cut from the processing plant.
Ron Fredrickson mentioned that there used to be a sticker available from
Kodak. He was kind enough to supply me with one sample (Thanks, Ron).
However, it only says "DO NOT MOUNT" in fairly thin red letters.
I have now created another label, which is suitable to be put round a
film cartridge after it's exposed. It can easily be fixed with a small
piece of adhesive tape ("Scotch", "Sellotape", "Tesa" etc...). The dotted
line should go over the slit opening of the cartridge.
You may download the file from my web-server (it's only about 50 KB). Then
import it in any graphics program and make sure to print it exactly 80mm
wide by 35mm high.
This also marks the official opening of Stereoscopy.com's download
section about 5 minutes ago (yes, photo-3d members are a privileged
species of man), which is at http://www.stereoscopy.com/downloads
Any comments, both about the label and the "Downloads"-section on
stereoscopy.com are appreciated.
Your always busy webmaster ...
