P3D spicer mount

Hi folks,
Some time ago, someone mentioned using the famous "Spicer" mounts, but to get
more regidity, they "glued" them together (I assume much like the
"heat-seal" mounts).
Now here comes my question . . .
What kind of glue??????
I am unaware of a glue that is archival in relation to film products.  Is there
one?  If so, what is it.  I would love to use the "Spicer" mount, but I too,
want
the regidity of a glued mount (I do use the heat seal mounts now).  But I sure
don't want to use the wrong glue and ruin my fantastic, world class slides ;-)
What is the opinion of the group?
