P3D Re: 3-D CD project

30 clams? Ouch. I thought this was a not-for-profit project. Is it or 
isn't it? I'm assuming it is if a large number of people are 
contributing material to it. 

Sounds like an interesting project, but it's too expensive for my 
tastes.

10 bucks postpaid sounds a lot better. Or 15 tops.

After reading the post by Dan on the contents of the 3D-CD it is CHEEP at $30.
I hope this does not prompt a last minute price increase. (Even with a missed
shift key hugh Dan). He has been working on this project for quite a while. I
can't even remember the first date it came up in discussion. Even at not for
profit we are'nt even comming close to the cost of the background work being
done. I think. Which I might add "I" (and probably) most of us would not be
able to do. You have to know how to do it. To do it.

I'm willing to pay for someone to do the work in  1/2 the time it would take
me to figure it out. As it is I will probably need lots of detailed
instructions just to use my copy when it arrives. 

I'll even have to stop useing the CD-ROM drawer as a cup holder.

Just my opinion for what it is worth :-)
