P3D lens cleaner

I am trying to clean a lens with some crud on it.  I have tried compressed
air, and a lens brush.  Some of the gunk came off, but the glass is still
not clear everywhere.

My question is, what cleaning fluid is OK?  I don't want to dissolve any
lens coating that might be there.  I don't know if the inside surfaces of
lenses can be cleaned the way you clean the outer surfaces (which are meant
to be cleaned.)

(These are the lenses from the Kodak Stereo I bought on eBay.  I decided to
keep it and fix it myself.  I have already licked the sticky shutter.  Even
though the camera was not delivered as advertised, I still figure it's
worth the money I spent if I can fix it, or the experience I'll gain if I
can't.  :^) )
