I started in stereo back in the early 50's. I am interested in starting up
again, and have a project idea I would like to pursue. I have the feeling
others are doing the same thing, and need some guidence to get started. I
have a Widelux camera, and a stereo vivid projector with 5" lens. I obtained
some stereo mounts for the widelux, but preliminary playing shows that they
cannot be shown on my stereo vivid projector. I would rather work with the
polarized projection of these pictures instead of go to a hand viewer. I do
have a full work shop, and once upon a time I actually made my first stereo
projector from parts I obtained from Edmund. It really did work well, but
then bought my stereo vivid projector for $35.00 back in those days which
included a screen and 12 deluxe pair of glasses. So if it comes to push or
shove, I really could build a new projector large enough for these 60mm wide
negs. However, if anyone has optic ideas as to condenser lens sizes, focal
length, and projector lens size required, would save me a lot of time and
trial and error. Any help? Or any other pregnant ideas?Dr. Ron Sanders.
