I'm sorry if anyone was offended by my comments. Dan had asked why more 
people weren't purchasing the CD - for me, it's cost, plain and simple - 
whether it's for profit or not for profit. This is one answer to the 
question you asked. 

I've produced several small-press publications at cost; if I figured in 
my "labor" hours, then I'd have completely "lost" money; however, that's 
not the point; you volunteer because you love the art and want to share 
it with others.

By the way, you really *can* get blank CDs for ~$1-2 even in small 
quantities if you look hard enough. A large number of computer/office 
supply stores offer rebates on blank CDs. I just purchased 10 blank CDs 
for the cost of a postage stamp + tax at OfficeMax.
