P3D In search of "ultimate quality viewing"...

	Thanks George for the kind words... and I must say, I find
your commentary both interesting and informative.  Heck, sometimes
very "Tongue in Cheek"....   But to the point:  I was glad you picked 
up on something I have been bothered by for quite some time.  I have 
not been successful in locating quality modern glass lenses to put
into new viewers (or use as replacements).  There exists an outfit 
selling Plastic ones (Taylor Merchant). But, I would REALLY like to
see those exact lenses (or close) in the glass.  Any ideas on where
to find them?    Also, you mentioned the stereoscopes with achromatic
lenses?  Are these lenses by themselves obtainable?  Where can I
purchase one of these scopes? ...Luckily, some of the viewers I
have are quite good optically. Otherwise, I'd have been a little more
bewildered...
