P3D Taking pictures sideways

I recently purchased the Argus 3D. A woman friend of mine was taking my
picture, and turned it sideways. I stopped her, because the directions
which came with the camera said it won't work that way. She says why
not. Come to think of it, I have taken pictures with paired cameras
which were placed bottom to bottom. The Argus print would have to be
viewed sideways, but would the 3D effect be lost?  I think I must
experiment with a shot. I'm sure this could all be worked out logically,
but it is late in the afternoon and my brain is tired.

	Incidentally, I am very disappointed with the flash pictures taken with
the Argus. They all come out looking like campfire pictures, where close
subjects are lit, while just past them all is dark.
