Your public spirit is to be commended, but I'm not sure about this "old"
business.  I know what the Hayes office is because I am cultural
literate, not because of my gray hairs, I am a veritable spring chicken
in the great scheme of things.  We should all remember the Hayes office
because, as some venerable old guy said, ...those who do not know history
are doomed to repeat it.
