Hello one and all:
 
It is my pleasure to join this august company of 3D enthusiasts - at
last!

Though I have pursued 3D interests since the NSA came to Milwaukee in
1994, my technologically backward lifestyle has kept me out of the
internet until now.  My exposure to P3D was limited to several months
of tantalizing, voluminous digests given to me by a co-worker who
subscribed.  I was a P3Der once-removed.

No longer. I can now drink directly from the P3D fire hose!  Unlike my
fellow new-comer Mr. Rudy Tharp, I don't arrive with any personal
recommendations from long-standing members - but I hope to recommend
myself in time.  

In other words: "Howdy folks!  Glad to be here!"
