I wouldn't worry about it too much. Most Internet junk mailers just don't
understand the fine points of legitimate professional ad copy writing
within the legal parameters of well-varnished truth. Instead, they tend to
think that ad writing consists of a lot of flat-out lies. I am constantly
receiving junk E-mail from writers who claim they are responding to an
inquiry from me, or that we spoke by phone last week, or otherwise make
fraudulent claims intended to make me believe there is some previous
relationship between me and them. Since most people surely recognize these
phoney E-mail headlines as lies, I've never understood their philosophy.
Why would ANYONE consider doing business with someone who starts right off
lying to them?!? The Internet, she is a strange place!
