P3D Re: archives passworded

I had intended to recommend the archives to people I meet when taking
3D photographs - should that be avoided? And what about people who are
curious about 3D but don't have the bandwidth to "drink from the firehose"
by subscribing?

Additional comment: I haven't signed on to a new list lately, so I don't
know whether it's been done, but it might be worwhile to mention the
existence of all of the 3D lists (P3D, T3D, S3D, SD3D) in each of the
welcome messages.
