Enjoyed your view of the platform at Arecibo (found after I went to inspect
your Quimby, as posted on P3D recently:

I worked at Arecibo for three weeks as an astronomy research assistant in
1983 - an impressive place indeed.  My first walk to the bottom of the dish
was at night without a flashlight.  Mysterious would have been an
understatement.

Although I shot several rolls of slide film, these predate my disovery of
stereo photography by about 15 years.  Too bad!  I should go back to these
slides, to see if I can find any "accidental" stereos.
